When people act, they learn. Learning involves changes in an individual behavior arising from experience. Most human behavior is learned. Its been found and believed that learning is produced through the interplay of drives, stimuli, cues, response and reinforcement. A drive is a strong internal stimulus impelling action. Cues are minor stimuli that determine when, where and how a person response.

Companies have to plan its strategies and have to give an idea to the marketers about what they are expecting based on the stimuli and cues. It’s because, once the when, where and how is understood, that itself works as a core factor in framing the future programs. It should be from the perspective of the consumers or the targeted group everything with regard to the ‘tomorrow’ of the business should be dealt and planned. companies looking for models should be aware of the same things. It’s the real producers who have to pass on such information’s to the ad-agencies. Empathy is the right feeling that has to be developed by companies of these nature as it’s the ‘you’ attitude that is more important in this context, than the ‘I’ attitude.

Learning theory teaches marketers that they can build demand for a product by associating in with strong drives, using motivating cues and giving positive reinforcement. A new company can enter the market by appealing to the same drives that competitors use and by providing similar cue configurations, because buyers are more likely to transfer loyalty to similar brands or the company might design its brand to appeal to different set of drives and offer strong sue inducements to switch in.
